We hold a Shacharit service every two weeks. We also offer a Family Shacharit service
for families with children.

Registration for community members
Guests are welcome
We warmly welcome guests. Please register with our main office in good time. You will
also need to submit a copy of your ID card or passport and state the reason for your
visit.

We are egalitarian and diverse
Men and women are equals in our community and we sit together. Our community
specifically champions a diverse, vibrant and tolerant form of Judaism in Hamburg.
Children are our future
Children enrich our community and are an integral part of our services and family
services. We also offer childcare and additional services for young families. Please ask at
our main office for details.
We love to sing
Singing and music are an integral part of our services. Organ music and a mixed choir
were a fixed part of services in our community from the time of its founding in 1817. We
strive to build on this tradition.
Dvar Torah
Our rabbi reads the weekly Torah portion at every Kabbalat Shabbat service. We meet
regularly to learn together.
Kiddush
After our services, our community invites you to share kiddush with us. We are always
happy for donors to sponsor a kiddush meal to mark a special occasion.
